Day Three saw us talking to Nick Gillespie (director) and Steve Garry (actor) about their short Samuel & Emily Vs. The World. We had a great laugh with the guys about the short, working with Ben Wheatley, Salford university, bazookas & nudism.
Day two saw me interviewing SFX guru Shaune Harrison (Harry Potter, World War Z, Star Wars) about his extensive career, his new special effects training school and any upcoming projects (that might just be in a galaxy far, far away..)
In our second inteview from day one, I chat to James Moran (Severance, Cockneys vs Zombies, Tower Block) about his new short 'Crazy For You' and what his favourite romantic comedy is.
We do spoil you guys... Last week was the incredibly popular Grimmfest, a four day celebration of the best in modern horror cinema. The good folks at Grimmfest were gracious enough to let us interview some of their guests about their current projects and what it means to do a horror film in the 21st century.
First up, we interviewed director James Goldner about his upcoming theology-horror "The Borderlands" and whether he has some unresolved issues with cars.
THE BIGGEST WEEK IN ENTHUSIAST HISTORY rolls on with our regularly scheduled episode. We've got a big update on what we've been up to and what's to come over the course of the next week at the start of the show. As far as the actual show itself goes, we've got the scientifically perfect band, a truly FILTH-y film and some hardcore book fetishism.
This is exciting guys, for our inaugural edition of our regular interviews with some of the best comics creators of today, I'm joined by Action Age's Chad Bowers and Chris Sims to chat about Awesome Hospital, Subatomic Party Girls, and the upcoming graphic novel, Down Set Fight.
Have a listen to hear the secret origin of Down Set Fight that will absolutely blow your mind, how the collaboration works between the two writers and theirs artists and the importance of representation in comics.
We also talk about dinosaur porn.
Once again, we're thrilled to be joined by Matthew Gibbon in a very special episode where we celebrate one of the greatest television shows in history, Breaking Bad. We pay our respects to Vince Gilligan by looking at the very last episode 'Felina' and using it as a jumping off point to discuss some of favourite moments from the past five seasons, our favourite characters from the show, and of course, our favourite songs.
A shorter show than usual this week as Kieran had a gig to go, and the lads find themselves picking the same thing for a few different topic. This week we're talking about the multitude of comic-book based TV shows (No, Kieran won't be doing a Source Material for them), the new revolution on console gaming and the shaky grey area between laughing with someone and laughing at someone.
We're going X-Rated this week, kinda of accidentally. We've got a big, lengthy chat about GTA V which everyone saw coming, but there's a lot more talk about nudity and porn than we ever expected. As Kieran jokingly put it at the start of the show, welcome to "Enthusiast... Nights"
One of our most wild and bizarre episodes this week as we go all 'round the houses, in our most off-topic show ever. This week we're talking about children's books being adapted into films that you didn't expect, the unexpected continued brilliance of Marvel's most recent Deadpool comic and the film that Shaun describes as "Home Alone for adults"
